Déjà Vu

Déjà Vu, what a wonderful feeling, right? You probably have experienced it at least once.... But you probably ask yourself, what is it?

I will explain my view of the soul and universe using circles (more on this later), but prior to that, let's look at this phenomenon.... When you see something happen, and then you see it happen again, whether a cat running across the street, and then running the same way again (like in movie The Matrix) (1) or a person talking to you and you "feel" that person already talked about the same thing utilizing exact same words (2).

The first example is overlap of universes, your awareness (existing) in one universe that is a time slice behind/ahead of your current one. These universes are so close together that very few things differ between them, that’s why your mind recognizes that this is what you currently experience (however, you’re not :)). In many instances, I believe that your mind actually rejects things from other universes as day-dreaming or imagination.

The latter example is you existing in the "future" of the current universe and then moving the pointer of your awareness back to the present time in the same universe and re-experiencing the same event again.

Children, I believe don’t have a set reference point and therefore they can experience all at once. That’s why parents tell their kids that it was either their imagination or quit making stuff up! :)

The difference between both of the examples is re-experiencing versus "knowing".

Now, premonition (AKA precognition).... The circle that is your soul is never ending or beginning.... All events and actions already exist; you just choose what to experience. When your awareness moves ahead in the circle of soul, you "see" the future before it happens... This future becomes when you stay the course on the autopilot. Believe it or not, but you're on autopilot most of your life.

How? Why? No way!
Yes, you are. Tell me what the last breath felt like? Was it deep, shallow? Was it sweet, sour, hot, cold?

Now, want to pilot your own life? Observe every breath, every moment, and every event. Don't judge, don't form conclusions, and don’t predict the future.... Just take it in!

You think the sunrise cares if you can see it or not?

Let’s address the concept of soul…

Soul is a part of god (AKA all). Since everything is god (AKA all), that means that everything is (has in a traditional sense) a soul. All souls are one, since they’re created (partitioned) from all (AKA god). Now, if god is all and souls are all, that means that souls are god.

Looking at the Christian belief (what I’ve been exposed to the most in my life; however, born a Jew and not religion), god created man in his own image. What does that have to do with all souls being god? Well, Christian explanation is a perverted version of “all is god”. Since all is god, that means every single soul is god, and in turn, rather than worshiping outward, all souls should worship inward. Worshiping inward means to actually quiet your mind (the chatterbox between your 2 ears) and listen to yourself (the soul). You “speak” in a faint, quiet, yet sharp and clear voice. However, your mind speaks (in the most natural way) in a loud, incoherent, unorganized, dull manner.

One way to quiet your mind is through meditation. The purpose of yoga is to help you meditate. Unfortunately, for most of the yoga studios in America (the ones that I’ve been to in Dallas, TX), meditation takes a backseat to the physical practice. Fear or converting hard-core religious fanatics to another religion (Buddhism/Taoism/Hinduism), in my opinion has halted the spread of meditation (beyond 5 minutes after the physical yoga practice). So it’s easy to see that there’s layers upon layers that have been invented (imagined) to ensure that you can talk to your soul… your mind is persistent enough that it doesn’t want to let go of thoughts.

Once your chatterbox is silenced, you start to see who you really are. You start to see the connection between yourself, others, and the environment. Seeing where you fit in the big picture makes a difference between living the life blindly and living it with the full awareness, enjoyment, and appreciation of complexity, integration, and beautiful simplicity.

Simplicity is all around us, whether it’s watching a newborn child’s smile, thunderstorm forming, and ocean waves coming ashore, or breathing. Complexity; however, is the way that all of these things come together. How we can get everything we want (more on this later) and yet not infringe on others’ wants. The world is full of abundance, yet we see it as linear, 4-dimensional (length, width, height, and time). In actuality, the world is circular (and you thought that Columbus would drop off the face of the earth plane :) ).

Let’s look at the circularity of the world…

Average person perceives the world as flat (yet it’s a common knowledge that it’s round). You would have to be pretty high in the atmosphere to actually see the curvature of the planet. So, we see the world as nothing more as length X width X height X time… Time, what an interesting concept... Did you know that time doesn’t exist? Yes, it’s true. We use time as a reference point of it happened, it’s happening, or it will happen. Yet, if you experience a rare event (such a car accident, a particularly funny joke, or a curiously unique occurrence), it seems that the time just stops. In a car accident, you can see everything in absolute clarity, detail, and from all angles. You wonder how come I didn’t turn the wheel, duck, or just got out of the way. Well, your mind has been conditioned by the society that time always moves, and you can do nothing but observe.

All of this becomes a mute point when you realize that time doesn’t exist. Want to see 5 minutes last 5 hours? Stop your chatterbox and you’ll see. When your mind is not thinking (on a runaway train at 5,000 thoughts per second), time simply stops for you.

So, without time, what is there? Well, all of the past, present, and future are occurring all at once. You’re simply choosing a reference point from which you want to observe those occurrences. Once you realize the strength of your mind, you’ll be able not only to travel to past, but also the future. Future is a very interesting topic which I’ll cover later… Do try to understand how a single circle of past, present, and future revolves around you. Once you start to understand, throw in infinite number of circles around infinite instances of you (which exist in infinite amount of dimensions), and that is your soul.

So you see; harming your self is impossible. Harming your soul, which is a near-impossible task as you’d have to harm all everywhere at every time.

Jesus of Nazareth (AKA Jesus Christ), has perfected the instance. Once your soul in all of the dimensions that you exist in performs the same thing all of the time, you become “enlightened”. That means that your soul energy is joined together everywhere and your thoughts, words, and actions carry that much weight. You can say a word, and someone might hear you. But if billion trillions of you say that word, guess what? A lot more will hear you. :)

The purpose of this blog is to explore the enlightenment journey, challenge your thinking/reasoning, and overall simply entertain you…

In the beginning, the time before time, there was all...

...and all was neither good nor bad, but just was/is/will be.
Now, to better explain the concepts, I think that some terminology must be described.

Reality - something (event, deed, object, subject, action, etc) that we perceive to take place.

Actuality - what is, something that occurs, exists, acts, etc regardless of our perception. A good example is atoms; they exist, although we can't see them, so do micro organisms, etc.

Time - a circular (never ending, never beginning) frame of reference. This is nothing more than a way that humans refer to events (past, present, future); however, all events exist and occur simultaneously.

Space - distance between 2 specific objects, emptiness and vacuum don't exist in their absolute.

God - all things that are thinkable and not

More definitions will follow :).

I particularly enjoyed Neale Donald Walsch's "Conversations with God", and I completely agree with his explanation of the time before time, so in an abbreviated form, here it is:

God was everywhere, one and all. There was no place where god wasn't, since a mere thought of that place prompted god to be there. So how can god know what god is? God split itself into 2. Now 2 portions of god can observe each other. That was nice, but still, many observances and experiences could not be, so god started dividing into smaller and smaller portions; that, we currently call "souls". Each soul is unique, thus god can experience each unique attribute of self. As new unique attributes became needed (evolved from experience), they appeared. After all, god is everywhere.

Now, the tough part, you are what you are not. What does that mean? Well, you can't be who you're not, so in order to experience who you are, you should experience who you aren't. Example: you can't say that you're not a murderer until you murder and realize that it’s not your cup of tea. You can't say that you're a teacher until you experience yourself as not a teacher and then as a teacher. Who knows, may be you're a student? :)

So in order to experience, some sort of a sand box had to be created to instill the basic rules for souls to determine who they're not.

Viola, here comes earth (and all of the planets and galaxies)... To create the matter, a thought is needed. In fact, creation first comes from thought, then communication (current human beings use speech), and then action. If a thought is powerful enough, it will involve all 3 aspects at once. Therefore, god thought and so it became.

Let me take a little detour and address the bible version, god said let there be light and there was light. I don't want you to feel left out; god didn't do it for you! You're the one who was speaking, you're god! I know, hard to digest, especially for hard-core religious followers (more on this later). At the beginning there was all, nothing was created, it was just changed from one state of reality to another, in actuality, it all stayed the same. You're a soul, realizing self in a flesh; yet you can't hurt yourself.

We're back on the highway.... With a thought, reality is shaped. Reality doesn't exist without you "thinking it up", actually, you're making all of this up, including the time that you're spending reading it, you already read it, know it, felt it.... Now you're just re-experiencing it :)

Matter as we know it, is nothing more than our imagination hard at work visualizing and tricking your senses into believing that walls are solid, fire is red, sky is blue, and water is wet.

Actually, it’s all energy that takes matter-like qualities at different frequencies (vibrations). In eastern beliefs, sound of “aum” or “om” is considered to be the sound of everything, so a frequency can create and change....

Meaning of Life

We at one point or another, become enamored with the "meaning of life". Some people spend seconds pondering this question... yet others spend years, decades, and at times (for the most of us), lifetimes. Some turn to religion (God as we know him/her/it), some to eastern practices (yoga, meditation, reike), yet others choose the path of narcotics (legal and illegal drugs).

Where does that leave the humanity? Well, I think that we end up being more lost than found… We search, yet in process of searching, we not only don’t know the way, but we also close our eyes. When we are sure that we can’t see, we tie our hands behind our backs and then jump up and down… Crazy, isn’t it? But it’s true!

Note of caution before you start calling me crazy, insane, or plain dumb:

THIS BLOG IS WHOLLY MADE UP, INVENTED, AND ASSEMBLED BY ME! NONE OF THESE THINGS ARE MEANT TO SERVE AS GUIDANCES, LAWS, OR RULES. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BECOME A RELIGION OR A FOLLOWING. IF YOU CHOOSE TO ARGUE WITH MY THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, OR OPINIONS, GO FOR IT, BUT THINK BEFORE YOU START THE ARGUMENT OF WHETHER YOU WILL EVER WIN AGAINST SOMETHING THAT IS NEITHER RIGHT NOR WRONG.

Now, with that little bit of my chest, let’s get to it…

Meaning of life is simple, elegant, sexy, and straight forward: experience yourself in situations that you create, events that you call forth, and with people/objects/subjects that you choose.

You might say: “WHAT? I didn’t choose the situation that I’m in right now! I didn’t ask for that event to happen to me! All of those people were there, regardless of me! I couldn’t do anything about that object!”

Very good points and arguments (and I’m sure that you can arrive at many more at a drop of a hat, hatchet, or a dime… whatever floats your boat). However, NOTHING IN UNIVERSE HAPPENS BY CHANCE. I know; it’s hard to digest…

So let’s start from the very beginning…

Before the beginning

This is my first attempt at jotting all of my experiences, thoughts, and beliefs in a semi-cohesive format...

Perhaps an eBook will follow... we shall see :)
